Dr. Terry Loher

Dr. Terry Loher has always had a heart for helping others. Not only did he serve in the United States Navy for seven years as a hospital corpsman, but he also worked as a paramedic during his time off until he was honorably discharged due to a severe neck injury that left him with constant neck pain, immense headaches, and continuous arm numbness. Desperate for relief, he was referred to and sought out a trusted chiropractor that would prove to change his life forever. “I remember getting immediate relief with my first chiropractor but it just wouldn’t last. Out of frustration I tried another chiropractor that had studied the Gonstead technique and I was instantly impressed at how precise the adjustments were and how they lasted longer than the other type of chiropractic care I received at first. After a few months I felt better than I did prior to my injuries. This led me to pursue a career in chiropractic.

With his restored hope and newfound passion for chiropractic care, Dr. Loher went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. There, he had the honor of studying under Dr. Richard Burns, a prestigious professor who unforgettably drove home the principles and core values of chiropractic care.

By 2005, Dr. Loher was a practicing chiropractor, and in 2010, he began Vida Chiropractic.

Dr. Loher is a firm believer in continued education. Through regular research and learning, he is able to stay up to date and provide the best possible care to his patients and family members. For years, Dr. Loher was trained in upper-cervical techniques by Dr. Andy Roberts, and he is currently working towards becoming a diplomate of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society (GCSS).

‘When you think you know it all, the learning stops. Looking to my mentors and other chiropractors that I really respect, every once in a while, I learn something new.’

Outside the practice, Dr. Loher enjoys spending time with his children and participating in outdoor activities, such as hiking and swimming. When he is not on the sidelines of a sporting event or breathing in nature, he finds great joy in traveling. As a lover of learning, Dr. Loher also dedicates a great deal of time to reading and expanding his knowledgebase.
